Children's Ministry

The 2026-2027 Sunday School year will start on August 16th with classes from 9:30 to 10:15 am for children and teens who are age 3-18 as of September 1st.

Purpose

Our goal is to come alongside parents in reiterating the truths of who God is with the hope that our children and teens will have a solid foundation to prepare them for a life of faith. 

Sunday School

Children's Sunday School meets from 9:30-10:15 during the school year. We use Truth78 curriculum, along with other elder-approved curriculum, to teach children and teens, ages 3-18. Children are placed in a classroom based on their age as of September 1. Each classroom will have at least two adult church members who have completed training and had a recent background check. Parents are welcome to observe their child's Sunday School class. If you have children attending the 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 year old classes, please pick them up at 10:15.

Sunday School Curriculum for 2026-2027

All curriculum is from Truth78 except for the 3-year-old class. 

3 YEAR OLDS: THE TREASURE, BY MARTY MACHOWSKI
This book follows Luke’s letters and teaches young children about our greatest treasure, Jesus. 

4 - 5 YEAR OLDS: HE ESTABLISHED A TESTIMONY 
This preschool curriculum explores God’s greatness by noting key themes found chronologically in the Old Testament. 

6 - 7 YEAR OLDS: FAITHFUL TO HIS PROMISES
God’s character is trustworthy, therefore his promises are true and reliable. This is a curriculum for children on the promises and character of God. 

8 - 9 YEAR OLDS: TO BE LIKE JESUS
This curriculum is an essential study to help elementary students understand salvation and sanctification explained through the promise of the gospel.

10 - 11 YEAR OLDS: MY PURPOSE WILL STAND
God is the Sovereign Ruler of the universe, continually at work in His world. This is a curriculum on the providence of God.

12 - 13 YEAR OLDS: POUR OUT YOUR HEART
Our middle school students' curriculum will use the book of Psalms to teach simple Bible study skills, encouraging students to see God as the trustworthy, covenant-keeping God, who invites them into a personal relationship through Jesus.

Next Generation Essentials

One Saturday in June, our teens guide groups of children through an immersive day of fun and learning. Adults lead lessons, crafts, and games on one of the following topics: The Gospel, The Church, Lives of Service, The Bible, and Cross-Cultural Missions. Our prayer is that this event deepens our faith, gives teens a chance to serve, builds intergenerational relationships, and proclaims a solid understanding of these teachings.
